CommuniGALLANT brings together researchers and communities across Glasgow to explore climate, nature, and justice in new ways.

We use a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. We co-develop knowledge and actions that are grounded in the lived experiences of local people. Their priorities are central to our process.

The work has entered its third year. It continues to support community-led research projects focused on urban nature. It also addresses environmental justice, climate resilience, and systems change. Through workshops, interviews, and creative activities, we’re building lasting relationships.

Community science helps us shape a more just and sustainable future for Glasgow, together.

Using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, we centre local knowledge, lived experience, and community priorities. Residents act as co-researchers, shaping the questions we ask and the action we take.
